Why are the materials and exam sold separately?
We separated them so you can study the material before committing to the exam. The $25 modules give you everything you need to learn GEO thoroughly. When you feel ready to be tested and earn the official certification, you purchase exam access separately for $75. If you know you want both, the $100 bundle skips the two-step process entirely.
What happens if I fail the exam?
Your wrong answers are explained immediately after each attempt so you know exactly what to review. Your $75 exam purchase includes 3 total attempts. If you do not pass on a given attempt, you must wait 6 hours before retaking — this is by design to ensure you review the material rather than guessing repeatedly. If you exhaust all 3 attempts, contact us at support@teachmeoptimization.com.
What do I receive when I pass?
Two items. First, a printable certificate of completion — enter your name, click Generate Certificate, and save it as a PDF from your browser. Second, a GEO Certified badge image you can add to your website, LinkedIn profile, and client proposals. The badge links to TeachMeOptimization.com so clients can verify the certification.
Do the study materials expire?
No. Your access to the study modules does not expire. Work through them at your own pace and take the exam whenever you feel ready. There is no pressure or deadline.

Do I need technical skills to pass?
